@lizahhp: today taught me that kids really are sponges. they’re constantly watching, listening, and absorbing what we show them is important to us. the first two days, he didn’t really care to join me while i read, and that’s okay. i didn’t expect him to sit still or understand what i was doing. but today, something so small happened that felt so big. he came and sat with me three times and read little bits and pieces of Scripture with me. it reminded me that sometimes it’s not about forcing them to do anything, but the importance of planting little seeds and consistently showing them what it looks like to make Jesus a priority 🤍
