my experience with hr was a guy actively harassing most of the department, but he was friends with our hr branch representative, so everything he did got swept under the rug. when our management went over her head to report the situation to her boss, the guy threw a tantrum on the work floor before storming out quitting/was fired(basically they deemed his actions enough of a threat that if he did come back he would be escorted out by security and be fired immediately. he never came back.) the hr representative was fired because we had months, possibly over a year of documentation we presented to her boss about everything going on, and he commented that there was no record of any of this on their end because she was deleting reports. . we should have better people now, but unfortunately the department has effectively lost trust in hr so if something happens, we basically just make a log of it in case something comes up later.

Me, at a mostly-remote job explaining that no, I can’t just come into the office unexpectedly. Why? Because my second job is house/animal sitting and I promised owners I would be onsite because Im remote. Yes, I do need the second job because the first one isn’t paying me enough to live. I also have a third job, do we want to discuss that one too? No? Oh I can stay remote? That’s what I thought.

😂😂 my ex boss made a run that no one was allowed to talk about anything in the office that didnt involve someone else in the office. like okay sure except they were all related and woukd say any of their conversations were fine because its related beacuse they are. I was the only one not allowed to talk. when if work around it like oh this conversation is fine cause were both girls. they then made a rule that I wasnt allowed to talk. asked about my work, they'd say it was never late and it was always of a high quality. ask if my conversations were inappropriate, nope they werent inappropriate. it came out that my boss didnt know how to talk to me after I repeatedly asked him to stop calling me a 'good/bad girl' and so he'd rather it just be a rule that I couldn't talk and that no one could talk to me

Had a co-worker shit on me for my second job. I was a volunteer firefighter making minimum wage for hours I worked or was on call. He was later fired for showing up drunk a lot.
