As a NICU nurse i would NEVER recommend letting your newborn drink from their own bottle like this. I’ve seen A LOT of babies come in for aspiration pneumonia 😳

Mom to mom Remember to keep bassinet and crib free from pillows and inserts and blankets to avoid overheating, suffocating and SIDS. Also feeding baby like that is dangerous especially baby being so small they can choke. If baby does choke turn them to the side and rub back never smack. We all learn as we go and sometimes it takes bad mistakes but it’s okay it’s how life is!

please prop him up and hold the bottle for him 🤍 the bottle is not aupposed to be inclined like that all the way. like this! the milk should only be at the tip when feeding and not all the way down
