Yess!!!! I have been dying my hair by myself for about a year and I love it. I use the Garnier 100 and I haven’t noticed any damage. My hair was wayyyyy more damaged when I used to get it professionally done.

hey i’m a licensed hair stylist and i personally do my own highlights it’s definitely hard i cannot do my whole head myself or the back if your wanting to try to do it at home i would recommend a base breaker which will lighten your hair one level which might be easier then using bleach

Not a licensed anything but I bleached the bottom section and the front of my hair myself a few days ago and I’ve had no problems personally (this is the only picture I got that day I’m sorry 😞)

Cosmo student here:))) before I started my schooling I bleached my hair at home! You really just wanna make sure you’re not over processing and you sectioning correctly. Just find a YouTube tutorial for sectioning and as far as products go I get T19 toner at Sally’s and use the blue wella bleach!

Yessss my mom goes to Sally’s beauty supply it has the bleach that hair stylist use that’s all I’ve ever done I’ve never went to a salon but don’t use just any drugstore bleach

hi girl im a cosmetology student and i def think if you practice/do your research you definitely can !! i think a lot of the issues rhat ppl have are when they just go in blindly. make sure you get good products and have help with the back of your head, and do proper sections. youtube def has some good tutorials - that being said if you have any questions I can definitely try to help so reach out if you need anything :)

when i had bleached hair i always did it myself!! Whenever i went in for it, a full bleach it never turned out how i liked it. I still have my blonde hair on my page too!! Just get good at foiling your hair

Everyone’s experience is entirely different based on the research you do and attention to detail you give while doing it (or have a trusted helper) just a very friendly tip, if you decide to lighten your hair at home and you already have previously lightened hair make sure you avoid all hair that has already been processed to a level 10 and keep a close eye on on your hairline/ lighter pieces! overlapping will cause your hair to melt and become gummy or completely fall out- with lots of love, a licensed hairstylist who was once blonde and also bleached my hair at home and it did in fact melt off😖

It’s not gonna be easy to just do the roots on your whole head by yourself. I think it would be an advantage as far as conditioning and repairing your hair at home because bleach damages your hair every time. This is Long, but if you part your hair equally four sections take your time starting in the back. One section of time it’s double for just the roots. Take care Livi!

Yes babe I do it at home. And it’s wayyyyy cheaper and faster. I always have my friends do it. It take like an hour or two and it’s pretty chill

this is my hair i just bleach and tone it , i dont put any blonde hair dye on all my hair after bleach , too add dimension i section small strands of my hair and i dye them a darker blonde ! i used to get my hair done but it always left my hair dry ! so i do it myself 😝

if you're a natural blonde i definitely recommend switching to using high lift at home instead of bleach, i use one and im still able to get that icy blonde look without the damage of bleach and it absolutely saved my hair's health and length 🫶🏻
