Never understood charging extra for blow drying/styling. I do charge if they add on a cut but it’s about $10 cheaper than just getting a haircut without a color service. for reference I charge $35 for womens cut wash style & $25 for an add on cut. I did recently add a dry cut option for $25 as well because I realized some people like to just be in and out and I want to give that as a cheaper option so I can tailor to anyone’s budget . That’s just how I am and a lot of stylists aren’t like that and that’s okay!! I think it’s great we can all do things a little bit differently!

I have a haircut add-on that’s separate and a little bit cheaper for color services, then my price of a standalone cut. Not all my colors want a haircut every time!

our salon haircuts and all color services always come with full blowouts! could never understand not doing it that way....but for the haircut for me it just depends, technically if they want a haircut we add the full price of a regular haircut on top of the color service and often that's what I charge but if someone is getting a color service and they just want like their face framing touched up or a baby trim where I'm not really sub sectioning the hair I'll knock the price down or off for their cut!

I cut, blow dry and style with every color.. that's my work walking out the door and I'm not letting them walk out with a beautiful color and nasty ends or wet hair

Same! All my services come with a cut if wanted. For color it comes with the toner, blow dry and style too🤷🏻♀️I want my clients to have healthy hair and I want them to leave with good hair

My specialty is cutting, but I still do a lot of colors. Because of that, you’re paying for my cut when I am doing one no matter what. My cut is a separate service that has to be requested during the time of booking because it’s special. It’s not a 2 minute quick little add on. But all of that is intentional. Every stylist is different and emphasis should be put where we’re special.
