I think I’ve got traits of both adhd and autism . I’ll observe my money and do mental maths and anticipate stuff but then I’ll spend until I get to the absolute limit of my budget and then play a game called “can I keep to this till payday”? If I follow it, i buy something nice on payday.

I guess there is a point there, I don't know how much things cost and my friends tell me I am delusional when I say something is not expensive. I also spend the whole amount I earned until the end of the month. I can see how much thing cost, but don't retain information to compare. what is the solution to this after this first step of seeing how much things cost?

I have inconsistent income all over the month and last night my brain chemistry changed when I heard to go backwards six months and use that as a budgeting tool. . . just sharing. :)
