I love mine, her eyes look a little more reddish pink in person. She is roughly 28 inches tall. if anyone can tell what type of doll she is, that would be great! I used to collect porcelain dolls but I got rid of most of them. She was the only one that had no brand mark on her.

My mother made porcelain dolls most of her life. She recently passed @ 96y/o. Going through her things, we found many parts to make them. Heads, eyes,wigs, legs, arms, etc. would like to donate to an amateur doll maker,or a doll making class.

if you haven't touched her up then the paint on her face tells me she's not sun bleached and probably rare. but that's my total uneducated guess. either way she's gorgeous 🥰

my grandma used to have a lot of dolls with pink eyes - i used to think they were a specific line that just made dolls with pink eyes (but they were all different styles so idk why i thought that lol) - but now i wonder if there was a pigment used in their eyes that discolored or faded over time, like in a lot of paints or nail polishes

Alot of eyes do that especially from the 80’s-2000’s look at my twin dolls they had pink eye syndrome

I thnk its an Indicator of a very rare doll! im pretty Sure if the eyes were Sun bleached,they would be more yellow-orange colour it would also mean the Skin, and hair would have been Sun bleached too (and maybe the clothing) But she is very beautiful! 💕

dolls eyes can change colour when stored away in dark places, rather than the sun. I have a doll who was stored in a box in a dark attic for years when I refound her and opened her up her eyes had changed colour from blue to pink so that could be possible as she is in great condition like stored away

her eyes have oxidized which is basically a chemical breakdown in the eyes. happens in alot of porcelain dolls and other dolls with eyes like this. also happens in these “Little Cousins” dolls from 2002. the one on the left had brown eyes and the right had green eyes. ive had these dolls since opening them brand new as a child. watching them change over these many years is so incredibly fascinating to me.
