hi chef here, I've cooked steaks in basically every way possible, from boiled to deep fried to grilled and smoked. Beef and nut products is not unheard of, but not in the form of encasing a steak in a tub of nut spread and sauteing it. A thai style peanut sauce on a steak likely wouldn't be too bad, or even crushed nuts in a breading for fat frying is generally acceptable but not jar o jif and a teflon pan.
