Hi I recommend doing more a 70% soil to 30% sand substrate, but for the first few weeks it should be only kitchen roll to monitor their health as moving is a big change for reptiles, also heat pads shouldn’t be used just a heat lamp for heat & temp control/monitors my girl also loves to burrow so having around 4 inches of bedding is great & climbing opportunities like exo terra forest branches & cork logs are definitely a favourite of my girls ☺️

here's my enclosure for a bit of inspo on what a good leo enclosure should look like, definitely get some coco-bricks or topsoil as the sand and grit is one of the most common causes of impaction, you also need to take out the heat mat and replace it with an overhead bulb, make sure you have a dimmer and a thermostat to make sure the warm side does not exceed 35 degrees, make sure your overhead light is UVB and make sure its the right amount so your gecko can absorb calcium properly, improper calcium absorption can cause MBD wich is fatal. definitely get alot more hide outs, i know the PAH people told you it will overwhelm them but please be aware they are prey animals and there much more stressed without lots of hideouts

Adorable, do you have any heating for the little dude, I’d also get some nice branches for some climbing about, and I go to ikea and get fake plants and pop them in for some coverage 🥰

here's my info sheet on Leos! So for enclosures, leopard geckos can be comfortable in a 50gal vivarium enclosure, that can be a glass or wooden enclosure. For heating and lighting I recommend an “Arcadia ProT5 Kit - 7% ShadeDweller” for their UVB. And for their heat, get a Clamp lamp to hold the bulb then get the “Arcadia 50w Halogen basking spot bulb” Then lastly you will need a dimming thermostat. all of that can be found on Amazon or swell reptiles. Then Inside the enclosure you will need two thermometers/hygrometers to track humidity and heat. Now for substrate, I recommend a 7:3 ration of topsoil to sand so every 7 cups of soil do 3 cups of sand. I the out leaf litter onto to give a more natural feel. Then for decor, I add at-least 2 hides and then a humid hide with wet moss to help with shedding etc. They will also need one water bowl with fresh water everyday and one drop of water conditioner to make tap water safe. I then also add a variety of sticks, rocks and fake plants ( you can do real ) to give enrichment. I like to do a very light mist inside my leopard geckos every few days and in their hides and it keeps things less dry. Now for feeding I feed my 2 leopard geckos once a week and I give the 6 crickets and 2 large mealworms each with a sprinkle of calcium on top. This is an adults meal, I’m not sure about babies because I’ve only had adults myself. Another thing they will need is a small pot of calcium at all times in they’re enclosure you can use a little trinket dish which is what I like to use, they need this calcium to help growth and health. A fact about leopard geckos is that they actually have a poop spot, so once they poo somewhere in the enclosure once they will only poo there for the rest of their lives, which makes cleaning easy because you can put some slate where they poop. You don’t need to worry about the geckos nails and they file them down on their own! directly under the heat lamp that you'd need you should put slate or a brick to absorb the heat for basking. sand alone isn't a good substrate so please please do change that as impaction can be fatal x if you need anything else do let me know x
