Because there motus system is garbage I was put inactive for 1months and 2 weeks and now brokers using carrier 411 think I am a new carrier . Horrible garbage system

I had this issue!!!! Call your states dot they usually know someone personally at the fmcsa to fix it asap, that’s what I had to do in Michigan

yes I have a new truck and new insurance I paid for my authority before motus FMCSA just refunded my money told me to do my authority again in motus because of FMCSA and motus I am still pending and I have already paid insurance and a truck note!!!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!! and I call them daily.

I am having this problem down to the T. I started my numbers in late February and still not active I can fill a book with how many times I’ve called and email. They agree everytime something is wrong that it has been escalated to a supervisor but nothing has changed in months

MOTUS is hurting all new Carriers and ones that have thier MCS-150 form due for renewal then MOTUS gets u locked out… Its an IT disaster, ur guy needs to call and email all day to fix

We did oh we did ours several years ago but had basically the same issue. Days and days went on and everything was submitted but it wasn’t flipping to active. I finally called I’m thinking I was on like 75 minutes wait. They reviewed my stuff and activated it. It was just like it was sitting there waiting for an employee to review the documents or something. I don’t remember their exact excuse but have them go after it in person

I started my brokerage and and it took 4 months of me paying my bond insurance and everything esle thank god my trucking was done before motus

I started mine in April 13 and it took 3plus months to go active. Just kept calling and finally went active. Paid 3 months of insurance and could not run my truck. So I was almost 4 months old when hitting the road.

Yes, you must email them a bunch of information your EIN number and other information. The best thing is to spend the four hours on the phone contacting them and tell them that you want to walk-through or email them was the fastest way for us.

It took us 3 months to get active status on Motus. On top of that I had stopped insurance for one month and had to reinstate once my health got better. after 8 years as an authorized carrier my Insurance went through the roof for one month off and yet I couldn’t generate income due to motus issues. Yet no one is held accountable but we are for anything and everything.

Mine did this in February and it took a extra 21 days to go active they said it was in a safety vetting period I paid insurance two months before I ran my first load

Ok I’m having problems with them also. They gave me an astronomical quote for my renewal (like 7k for two tandems lol) the lady finally ended up telling me it was because my snapshot says I’ve had one out of service and only driven 1 mile despite turning in several MCS 150s they will not update it in the system

I would suggest anyone new doing to insure your personal car, still going to cost a lot but cheaper than a truck.
