So I’m making this post a little bit more personal. I know I have seen a couple new friends follow and I want to share with yall more about me. Hi 👋 My name is Samantha but I go by sprout 🌱. For more than one reason. I love plants. Not only that; I have envisioned myself as a flower and where I plant my seed is where I shall blossom 🌸. And by that I mean; the words I use, the things I say, the way I move in life, I use with intention and purpose. When I say I’m going to do something I’m going to do it. I watch how I talk to not only myself but others around me. I personally get really bothered by liars and that’s a downfall that I live with everyday because in the past I used to just let people walk all over me, now I don’t let that happen. I’m still healing that so be patient with me please. 🙏 With the healing part, that I found within gardening. 👩‍🌾 I was in my grandmothers garden picking raspberries and rhubarb since I could remember at the age of 3. When I got older we made homemade sauerkraut as kids (I never understood the canning part until I got older - at 22 now 29). We just “bruised” the cabbage and added salt and the smashed it up some more. I remember these fond memories being my best from childhood. I will always appreciate my grandmother showing me the ways of the garden when I was super young. It just has stuck with me ever since. So since then I have learned not only the ways of the garden, but what really matters in there is ❤️ love. To can my own food for my own family that comes out of my garden has got to be the best feeling ever :) On top of gardening and canning and being out in nature you may think huh gamers don’t touch grass? Well I am one that does we’re gonna break that stigma cause I am a gamer but I still enrich our family with food :) I love to play FPS, card games, strategy, storytelling, DND, magic, Pokémon, and a bunch of others but that’s just a few. The one thing that I will say I love the most is being a MOM 👩 I have always cherished my kid and always will. She is so smart, so kind, so sweet, and she’s got that little sassiness from me. We like to paint, make arts and crafts, go swimming and most of all make core memories together. If you’re new here say hi in the comments :)
