He called himself a god to escape the ordinary man, building his identity upon pride and distancing himself from a world he believed was beneath him. “Never tell anyone your dreams” became an ode to that selfishness, a reflection of the blame he placed upon everyone but himself. When the clock finally struck on Doomsdale and the prophecy he had written for himself came due, he did not look inward. He blamed the world.
That is the irony of the Low Tier God. It is not simply that he believed himself divine, but that even in failure, he could not accept himself as human. He made six years a measure of superiority, a challenge meant to mock the average man and prove that he was different from everyone else. Yet when he failed his own test, the fall did not humble him. Instead, it became another chapter in the mythology he had created around himself. And somehow, even after all of it, he is praised. Perhaps that is why he presumes himself a god. Not because he conquered the world, but because he could never admit that the world had conquered him. He wanted to stand above mankind, to become untouchable, to exist beyond judgment and consequence. Instead, he became its most human contradiction: a man desperate to be untouchable, who could never stop caring about being touched.
