I used to be when I was a kid bc I thought it would help me fit in with the other guys my age since being a bigot was unfortunately very popular. But I since then distanced myself from that and also discovered that I’m not entirely straight. It was lowkey probably self hatred or something. I never felt that way in private and it was all a facade but now I feel like I’m finally becoming who I always truly was, I just don’t feel the need to have to hide it anymore. It’s a huge relief actually now that I’m thinking about it. No one should be judged or bullied for something they have no control over. We are all human and should treat others how we would want to be treated.

I was forced conservative propaganda as early as 3rd grade as soon as i hit highschool i randomly realized how much i actually didnt care ab the things i was being told. I am so anti racist i block ppl day one if they even spew harmful stereotypes ive educated myself to inth degree and all that happened within the span of like 5 years cuz deconstruction is rough and hate is intrusive because ppl r so used to it. But the idea of being mad at someone for doing smthn 5 years ago and growing and saying thats not long enough is just a crock of shit because the enlightenment of hatred literally hits u like a bag of bricks. (This does not apply to fully grown ppl like gen x and up imo)

real. you don't need to give those people a medal and cake, but trying to further shame them just deincentivizes that growth in other people, which obviously it's bad if they're avoiding growth due to shame, but it's still best to encourage this kind of growth regardless for a better world. people would rather dunk on someone and say "too little too late" and it shows they are less concerned with the actual impacts and more about what makes them feel morally superior
