I think it should be built into the contract when it sells that not a single thing can be changed in that house. It cannot be touched. It does not need any renovations of any kind whatsoever. It should be marked as a historical landmark and not a thing change unless it’s absolutely necessary for structural or safety and then it must be kept. Quality.

It PAINS me to hear or see people want to renovate historic homes with character to make them more modern. There are so many homes available that are new, more modern builds that would suit that preference. The craftsmanship and materials in these old homes are not really available or easily replicated today. You’re tearing out history. I know I shouldn’t care but I doooo 😫
