How to make your own playroom apple orchard: 1️⃣ Cut a big tree shape out of cardboard 2️⃣ Paint the top green for the “leaves” 🌳 3️⃣ Tape it up to the wall 4️⃣ Grab some fake apples (Amazon has great ones!) — or use ball pit balls if you already have them 🍏🍎 5️⃣ Stick Velcro squares on the back of each apple + onto the tree (make sure they all match—tree gets soft sides, apples get rough, or vice versa) 6️⃣ Grab some little baskets and add color labels (I painted Hobby Lobby buckets red, yellow & green, but you can also just tape colored paper inside baskets you already own) 🎨 7️⃣ Let your toddler “pick” the apples + sort by color! This turned into the sweetest toddler activity—mixing pretend play with fine motor skills + color recognition.
