I’m a sexology student and they started my course by talking about how sexological study is so young compared to other medical/physiological fields, and that’s made worse by the fact that this institution was destroyed. The institute had studied so much in such a small amount of time. It was amazing. And all the knowledge is gone.

We are seeing a rise of the current right wing party in Germany and ‘coincidentally’, the number of hate crimes against queer people is five times as high as it was only some few years ago. Overall, Berlin is still a quite liberal and safe space compared to other parts of the country, but man, it’s doesn’t feel the same anymore… right-wingers and religious fanatics agree on one thing always: Their hate for minorities and women, and they weaponise that wherever they can.
