While I appreciate your public service, I felt a strong conviction to share a perspective deeply rooted in the Scriptures regarding faith and salvation. In your address, I noticed a focus on being good and performing good works. While the Bible reminds us that "by their fruits you will know them," Scripture is also explicit that good works alone cannot secure a place in Heaven. Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches us that we are saved by grace through faith, and not of works, lest anyone should boast. Furthermore, Jesus clearly states in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."Hearing a message that omits the name of Jesus Christ—the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End—left me deeply concerned. True assurance of salvation comes strictly through a personal relationship with the Son, rather than reliance on human effort. My earnest prayer is that our leaders do not just champion moral values, but openly confess the Name above all names, “JESUS” ensuring they never hear the words, "Depart from me, I never knew you.
