Avião pega fogo durante voo, aciona paraquedas e cai em área de mata em Minas Gerais Um avião de pequeno porte caiu na manhã desta terça-feira (25) em uma área de mata no distrito de Serra Azul, em Mateus Leme, na Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte, em Minas Gerais. A aeronave, um Cirrus SR22 de prefixo PR-VMI, teria apresentado uma pane durante o voo, seguida de uma pequena explosão e um princípio de incêndio. O piloto, de 29 anos, era o único ocupante. Durante a emergência, ele acionou o sistema de paraquedas do próprio avião, permitindo que toda a aeronave descesse de forma controlada. O piloto permaneceu dentro da cabine até tocar o solo. Após a queda, o avião foi consumido pelas chamas. O piloto conseguiu sair e foi auxiliado por moradores da região. Consciente e sem ferimentos graves, ele foi transferido de helicóptero para o Hospital João XXIII, em Belo Horizonte, com suspeita de inalação de fumaça. Imagens impressionantes registraram o avião descendo com o paraquedas aberto e deixando um rastro de fumaça no céu. Investigadores do Centro de Investigação e Prevenção de Acidentes Aeronáuticos (Cenipa) foram enviados ao local. As causas da pane ainda serão investigadas.
