This is absolutely one of my favourite training methods for fouetté turns. It provides the dancer with the opportunity to control their turnout and feel the necessary moving parts that create the perfect fouetté. This method has helped and is helping so many of my students and I hope you find this really helpful on your journey. There are so many dancers trying to learn fouettés and so often they are not advanced or strong enough to perform in the centre. This is to be practiced over a long time at the barre l, to truly implement the correct control and coordination of this challenging turn.
