I wish I had someone like you present at the hospital when I gave birth. The lack of information the focus on eating and his weight was so stressful. And the pressure to increase my production and keeping him awake was so high. The stress was horrible!

I wish the l&d nurses knew this info. instead they literally told me if I didnt give my baby a bottle she would be a diabetic 😒 i knew that info was total trash but I wanted to go home.

If I had a nurse like you at bedside, that would’ve saved me all that drama I had in the first week. Didn’t re-introduce my baby to latch to breast until a month later because I was ✨traumatized✨ from the first week. It was like she just knew, she had no problem with latch and I almost didn’t try again, but my husband just encouraged me to try even if a month had already passed and I was primarily pumping at the time. She’s 10 months now and still nursing well😊

I’m just over a week pp. had a c section. Constantly latching baby and pumping when he sleeps. But he’s needing atleast an ounce of milk and I’m only producing like 20 mils if that and having to supplement formula so he isn’t starving. Really had a hard time with this just wishing and praying my milk would come in. Your videos have been a lot of help mentally 🙌🏼

my baby is 9 days old and has already surpassed his birth weight.. does that mean I can let him go 4+ hours in between feeds if he's sleeping? im waking him up and it's sooo hard because he's so comfortable 😭 (also I need to sleep a bit more lol)

I took 9 hours of breastfeeding courses before birth and they didn’t include any of this. My PP nurses told me I had to feed him formula or he would starve because he couldn’t stay awake long enough to eat 😭 you’re doing important work!

Can you breakdown the best way to start introducing bottles after EBF for the first few weeks, including when to pump? Don’t want her to stop breastfeeding but want to start incorporating bottles

I just know you're amazing at what you do because just from this short video you gave me confidence that I didn't have before and reassurance that I needed.

The lady at the hospital that was trying to get my baby to latch was the reason I pumped for the first month of him being alive. She was so rough with him and told me I had to be the same way. But I went to a mommy and me class to see if he would latch and he did amazingly but that lady wasn’t rough with my son she showed me how to get him to latch and not shove his face in my boob.

Each baby is also different. What worked for my first that I breast-fed didn’t work for the second and things that didn’t work for the first

I breast fed my son almost immediately after he was born i didnt get to do that with my daughters due to complications with my oldest and with my second I had complications and my husband advocated for my choice of formula if I couldnt feed so she got what I planned before she was born during my emergency

FTM 33weeks now. This might be a dumb question. How do I know if my baby is eating enough those first couple of days?

Have you talked about pumping in the very beginning to get your milk to come in? Or should you just let baby do what they need to and it will come in when it needs? I pumped frequently the first week and my milk came in and I had a super oversupply for a while.
