I work for a pet cremation company and I believe my company is the one that packaged your sweet Ace baby. I’m so incredibly sorry for how they treated your other baby. Two dogs and one cat cremated here- they came back in ziploc bags inside their urns. We just picked up the cat this morning actually and her name is written on the baggie in sharpie. I opened the urn to check bc the receptionist almost gave me the wrong cremains this morning so I checked after she gave me the unlabeled urn. 🥴

Just so you are aware, humans come like this to. It’s not a ziplock bag it’s the standard for cremation, they didn’t even put my mom in also a nice back. Just the plastic bag in a plastic box. It was horrible, even my dog got a nice velvet bag

That is so weird I don’t think I’ve ever seen them put a cremation into a legit ziploc bag with nothing like… like the velvet bag? I have an urn of my cat and he’s probably in a plastic baggy as well, but his urn is basically sealed shut. And the presentation is nice. It’s jarring to expect one thing, considering you had a pet cremated with them once, and instead the urn just pops open and you see “ziploc”. That’s just bizarre for them to do that.

Battletown Animal Clinic did an AMAZING job with our Gunner. He had to be put down in their office and they took care of everything for us. And gave us the gold star treatment. And it’s like what they did for Ace! They even planted a tree in honor of him.

I accidentally opened my puppy’s urn and was shocked she was in a plastic bag as well!! It’s not a literal ziplock bag but very close. I understand it but still shocking af .

Yeah same. My boy had a private cremation also £500 he came home in a zip lock bag insude a straw bag! I had to get an urn separately This us his urn Pics of how he was returned home in replies

I haven't been able to bring myself to open up my dogs urn since he passed away 2.5 years ago and now I feel like I should to make sure my guy isnt in a zip lock 😔

Just out of curiosity, why do you go with cremation vs burial? We bury ours under a tree in our yard. No judgement either way, purely interested in the different preferences.

so very weird, did private cremation, no fancy urn bc i wanted to custom order one, but my boys ATLEAST in a different baggie(like ace) with a nice bow and SEALED and a white box is what it came in from the funeral home. A ZIPLOC IS CRAZYYY, i’d have a FIT😅🤬
