HOMEMADE SWAP FOR SNICKERS! You’ve got to try these!! They taste BETTER than snickers and not only are you getting a yummy sweet snack but you’re also getting really good nourishment too… unlike the snickers bars we all know from the shops!! You could make these without the silicone muffin cases but it def makes it much quicker and handier to use them! Also it is a must to use medjool dates for this recipe, they add the caramel/chewy taste and texture 😍 I always buy Zaytoun fair trade Palestinian dates (you can get them in nourish in Dunnes or other health shops) and they are by far the most delicious I’ve ever tried! This is not an ad- I’m just a huge fan. I don’t use precise measurements for this recipe, you can totally wing it which is another reason I love it 🙌 I made 11 snickers bites here and used 200g dark chocolate for the melted chocolate part and I love the Lidl JD gross 70% dark chocolate for this recipe. Recipe 👇 1. Cut down the centre of the dates without cutting all the way through and remove the stones. 2. Flatten out the dates with your hands and pop them into silicone muffin cases 3. Drizzle over some 100% nut peanut butter. Top tip 👉 heat the peanut butter for a few seconds to make it extra drizzly 👌🤤 4. Sprinkle over some roasted & salted peanuts (you can just use roasted if you prefer without the salt but definitely do go for roasted as opposed to raw peanuts) 5. Lastly top with melted 70% dark chocolate to completely cover the bites. 6. Put into the freezer for 45 minutes to harden, then pop them out of the cases and enjoy! Store in freezer or fridge! These are great to keep in the freezer to grab a nutritious sweet snack when you need one!! Will you give them a try? Let me know 👇❤️ #sophiesswaps #cleverswaps
