Everything south of Front Street originally was part of the lake and over decades the city built landfill and put buildings and roads on it. When massive rains come, it all floods because you cannot stop mother nature no matter how much landfill you use.

This was an insane storm. It was drizzling, got on at Bathurst and off at queen. The sounds of the rain/hail sounded like the streetcar was being shot at. I had to stop a block away from work because my shoes had soaked in 2 minutes. And the walk was only 3 blocks. Someone else is having a worse time with a tornado or something
