On a lot of these math ASVAB questions, there is no need to “do the math”. Out of the 4 possible answers, only one could remotely be correct. 12x12 is 144, it’s got to be slight less, boom 113

What i dis is 12/2 =6, then 6^2 =36, 36x3.14=113.04. Do you think this work i just use the formula?

Or just think of it as a square 12x12=144 take a little off because well it don’t have corners what’s the closest fitting answer 113. Not every question on the ASVAB needs to have perfect knowledge base and understanding is it good to have yes but no reason to waste time on doing the full equation

Based on the multiple choice answers given, those saying 12 foot square area gets you close, works... but what if D had been 125? Better to start with the correct formula... almost as simple. 3.17*(6*6).

The math in this video is off: d=2r, 12=2r. So r=6. Area = pi*r^2 = 3.14*36 =113.04 so round to 113 so the answer is (C)
