You said “somethings you are saying that people who left the faith were never in it it’s not true” and also went to say “that they departed meant they were once in that faith” making reference to 1Timothy 4:1. Well we use scriptures (writings) to actually buttress Scriptures. Paul made that statement in a letter warning Timothy and when you read further he gave you the characterization of those who will depart. Now John in 1John 2:19 gave us the full context and Understanding of those that departed in their time and will still depart later as to why they will. “They went out from us, (departed from the faith) BECAUSE they were not of us(were never in the faith). For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us” John wasn’t addressing outright unbelievers here, he was addressing supposedly born again, Church community folks, who have departed from the faith and are now teaching doctrines of devils just the way Paul warned Timothy. Let’s be Sound and seek knowledge properly before we try to come and influence. Yes once saved for ever Saved is a Valid statement. Shalom.

Most people against once saved forever saved haven’t given me scriptures to counter this message, it’s just head knowledge, we need scriptural references to back up your claim. Proponent of once saved forever saved have more profound scripture to their claim
