if I understand it correctly, other sets that are not glazed or porcelain are good too, but you have to designate separate sets for specific teas because the flavor can get 'muddy'. like if you usually drink dark/ strong flavor teas and want to try a light/smooth tea it's not gonna be that great because the past tea is seaping into the brew
