How we serve without being noticed. 
How we treat the person who has nothing to give us in return. I pray that, in the middle of all our ordinary days— the laughter, the messes, the bedtime stories, the little hands reaching for mine—
they would see something of Christ. His gentleness.
His patience.
His mercy.
His willingness to give Himself completely in love. I don’t want my children simply to hear me tell them about Christ. I want them to encounter Him in the way I live. Because one day, they will imitate what they have seen. Christ need to be at the center of our homes. 
At the center of our marriages.
At the center of our parenting.
At the center of everything. May our children grow up knowing that love is not merely something we say. Love gives.
Love serves.
Love forgives.
