it's not just windows that do this shady process. nearly all major companies do it from apple, Samsung, Sony etc etc. there should be a law put in place, that any new feature added during an update, should only be an apt in. as many people (including the elderly) won't have a clue or are too scared to turn off settings. it should also be law, that the company must not alter any settings (especially security) during or after the update. as how many times have windows changed people's security settings, without their knowledge.
