#scaralumi | quick filler heh analysis below ig.. art bzsaro01, ib @𐚁 Ayea ˳ ok i did some simple lyric changes in the captions . for instance when it says “i wanna be your _” i change it to true companion because of how when he comforts the traveler about their twin, he says ’uour real friends will understand’ which implies himself being that true friend - not to mention how in the travel log archive, the description of the cutscene where he gets his vision and saves the traveler describes him as ‘your companion.’ i think he truly would be honored just to be considered “hers” hence why in some parts i put “yours” in quotes - its not about necessarily belonging to someone, but more so the feeling of them viewing you and calling you as someone close to them, and i think to scara that would be enough in a way. to be called that, similar to how he actually likes hearing the traveler refer to him by the special name assigned. hence why at one point i put ‘want my name to be yours’ which has dounle meaning of how he doesnt object or protest to sharing a name w rhe traveler (plus wanderer and traveler mirroring each othwr as titles that r placeholders for their names) but also can mean that he wants his name to be a name given to him/chosen by the traveler - because its still a name that the traveler gives. also i really like his ‘everuone would be stuck w/o you’ as not only is he offering her genuine encouragement and support (hurt comfort scrlm i yearn 4 u), hes also indirevtly including himself which means acknowledging her special role and significance to him. basically reminding her to keep her head up i guess bevause she means a lot to others, and is deserving of being saved as a priroity over his revenge, also reassuring jer that it was HIS genuine choice to do so. ‘Breathing in ur dust’ i feel like also shows how one is so devoted to another theyd be willing for anything as long as its from them, getting as much as is being offered to them without complaint (‘hey im not complaining’) BUT NOT IN THE SENSE OF oh ill take the bare minimum.. i mean this more in just a deep sense of like, someone elses presence just being enougj for you even if its all you guys are able to offer each other ykwim???, which i feel kind of fits w scara bevause in the end he knows thay she still has her journey ahead of her and he cant ask so much from her idk. even if its seemingly not much or is seemingly something left over like dust, rhe fact its from ones loved one is what makes it special. ANYWAY ALSO i put ‘with you i learned peace’ bc i feel like traveler rruly taught him what it means to just exist without having to prove anything, and to just be more open and relaxed and self accepting rather than having to put on a condescending or defensive front to compensate i Guess. so again shes shown him freedom. even tho he denies in his vl that his anemo vision has no meaninf, we all jnow it does….. And oh ofc i included the ure still gonna call me hat guy after that bc it truly js feels so meaningful and displays how him saving her had an actual meaningful intent from him, and wasnt just a gesture he wanted to be taken lightly. i also think its cute (ew) when he kind of says ‘is it that surprising id come to -your- rescue’ bc in a way he wants her to believe in him.
