@nurse.jackiecrna: Clinical rotations in CRNA school are not a “shadow and leave” situation. You are training to practice as a CRNA. You work nights, weekends, holidays, etc away from family and friends. It’s not a contest to see who works more. #crna #nursing #crnaschool #icunurse #nursesoftiktok
A little off-topic, but do you think there’s a possibility that the CRNA profession could become oversaturated in the future?

Facts. And if being away from home for an extended period of time is a no go for someone, they can look into which schools have only local clinical! Shoutout CRNA Method - I think their school finder addresses that question.

When you do graduate and get a job. Does the hospital or company train you during your first week or so ?

So are there exams? Lectures? Verifications? On top of studying? And the full time job clinicals?

How did you maintain your boards knowledge after passing the SEE in didactic and transitioning to clinicals. Worried I’m gonna forget all of my didactic knowledge during clinicals and have to play catch up at the end of the program

Honestly I feel like this how nursing school clinical should be too.. but maybe that’s because I learn so much better with hands on rather than reading slides lol

When you mention that they may need travel does that meant that sometimes it is as far as they would need to take flights? Are they given a stipend or supported with transportation fee?

what kinds of surgeries/procedures do you primarily work on? & would you be able to make a video on how anesthesia administration and care may differ from procedure to procedure (for example, open heart vs neurosurg vs EGD/colonoscopy/same day stuff)? :) sorry if you’ve answered these before!! i’m an icu nurse
