As a Native American this was a badahh logo like for example I’m not even a Chicago Blackhawk fan, but I have some of their logos because it was badahh 💯💯💯💯

So my mom is a patent attorney and I asked her about this. She said it is likely so that they can maintain the trademark. Also she said that the Jayden Daniels thing was because if he doesn't set the boundary with everyone he can't set it for anyone (he would lose the right to sue anyone if they used his likeness) and this is something that happens often with athletes and that they can sell access to it for cheap (like $1) as a way for those they want to use their likeness and maintain their rights.
