Sad that in 2026 contractors don’t run proper cables in a home.

Eric White :
cut lv1 and drill through bottom plate of wall or attic and drop wall. don’t drill that far out into a new floor.

I'm genuinely concerned with the amount of manpower being used here. I've seen linemen climb 100 foot poles in 100 degree weather working around high voltage lines with less assistance than this. Meanwhile supervisor Noe has a whole crew gathered around a coax cable like they're handling a major infrastructure emergency. At some point the Meta glasses need to come off, the supervisor hands need to get dirty, and leadership needs to be demonstrated. This is a one man job that somehow turned into a full crew operation. After reviewing the footage, I can only conclude there is an unacceptable amount of sissy boy activity taking place on this job site.

I do fiber and I laugh at the 4 to 6 inches from the wall coax.. if i was a home owner id be pissed. at least use a wall biscuit jack and put it right at the base of the trim.

Shoulda just drilled in the middle of the room and left 12’ slack, that way customer could move it to any wall they want……

Don’t the builders or contractors pre wire the home with coax and data before drywall goes up? They do here in Ohio…
