As a person w avoidant tendencies,, I leave when I feel like my life is enmeshing with someone else’s and is beginning to feel like it’s no longer my own. I can’t imagine having to consult someone else to make decisions about my life. I value autonomy highly and can’t imagine giving that up. (This REALLY started after a long-term relationship with an anxiously attached narcissist that told me I was an extension of him)

nope avoidants leave when ur too much for them. constantly having to make sure we text and call to keep ppl around is exhausting. this is why most avoidants get attached to other avoidants, bc they arent overwhelming😭
