I tried alabaster (too stark), Greek villa (too white, yellow undertone), creamy (too off white), Dover white (almost perfect, still not it), cold foam (too stark, cool undertones), shoji (too grey/greige). Finally settled on Westhighland White by SW and it’s perfect! (Sorry to add another white in the mix) 😅

Lighting matters so much. These are swatches of origami white, west highland white, and alabaster. Ended up going with the color pure white cause our floors are a very cool tone and I was worried we would end up with yellow walls and grey floors.

I was so overwhelmed with all the off-white choices so I did what I knew best and panic ordered 7 gallons of white duck because I thought the name was cute🫠. I’ll check back with an update on what it looks like once it comes in and is painted!

We did alabaster but we got our paint from Lowe’s and I had ran out so I went to Home Depot to grab another can, it was wayyyy more yellow than the one from Lowe’s. I highly recommend Lowe’s for it because it’s way more soft and not too white but not yellow either.
