This is almost how I feels with my grandfather who died in a car accident when I was 15. Saw my grandfather everyday and spent time a lot of time with each other. We lived down the street from each other my whole life, so he’s seen me grow up as a young kid. He’s seen the ups and downs, more downs than up😂 “I’ve only showed him the worst, most uncool side of me.” Hits VERY hard. now that I’m a young man, I’ve accomplished a lot that he would be proud of. It pains me to know that he never got the chance to see the man I’m becoming and that I’ve never had the chance to exchange stories and spend more time with him. You never know the value of a moment until it’s gone.
