But I do NOT want data centers polluting natural resources or affecting people's health with excessive noise levels. We're in this weird spot where everyone thinks you have to pick a side. Either you're all in on AI acceleration or you're against progress entirely. That's not how this works. We can build the infrastructure AI needs AND do it responsibly. The tech already exists: - Closed loop systems that don't use fresh water - Warm water cooling methods - Better site selection for remote placement We just need companies to prioritize these solutions instead of racing to build capacity as fast as possible. AI is going to scale. These companies aren't slowing down. We all know that. So the question becomes: how do we build responsibly? As much as I talk about AI's potential, I think this conversation needs to be front and center. We need more capacity, but we need to do it right. What's your take? yes sir. i agree. why are we letting these DCs within city suburbs where tens of thousands of people live is crazy. and i make a living helping coach people implementing AI.
