Collate means the pages print in sets 1,2,3 1,2,3 & 1,2,3 and uncollate means they print in groups 1,1,1 2,2,2 3,3,3. Hope that wasn’t too confusing!

Took me years to remember but here's a tip that finally works for me: SHORT edge is for Landscape (L's SHORTer length-wise) while the LONG edge is for Portrait (P's LONGer length-wise). 🫠
