@zagme0: Your first year of high school/college can be intimidating and hard to navigate. These are helpful tips that I always share with my students to ensure that they have a successful year. Don’t feel intimidated. When we all start something new and unfamiliar we feel scared because it’s new. Once you find your groove and you make friends, you will feel more confident to execute your main goals. Find your people and find your community. If you have time, be part of your school clubs or join a sport. This is the easiest way to make friends and create a life that’s more fulfilling while in school.
