@happilyeverexploring: Steal our weekend itinerary ⇊ for Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania 📍 This charming town is located in PA’s Susquehanna River Valley, which is just about 3hrs from Philly, NYC, and our home in Washington, DC. We had the best time here, and it’s worth recreating… so let’s go… 🏡 Stay at the Selinsgrove Inn 🧺 Bop around to all the boutiques, antique stores, and the farmer’s market in town 🍺 When it’s time for lunch, grab a table outside at Axemann Brewery 🏂 Schedule a tour of the Gilson Factory and see how their skis and snowboards are made. And if you’re up for a trip next August, plan it around the Gilson Summer Snow Day (aka the biggest summer rail jam and après party in the Northeast) 🦆 Take a walk around the Isle of Que for pretty views —> It’s also a great spot to launch a kayak and get out on the water 🏦 Grab dinner and drinks at Isabella Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge. It’s located in a beautifully restored bank, and the bar sits behind teller cages right in front of the original vault!! We spent the first 22 years of our lives living in Pennsylvania, and find it incredible that we can still stumble upon the most charming, new-to-us places to explore.
