@pepperandpine: Our second day of Waldorf inspired Kindergarten went great! I’m still trying to manage how much we can do in one day. I’m quickly realizing that the two hours twice a week I’ve set aside to Homeschool my triplet nephews, along with my sister-in-law, is not enough! Today we went over by 20 minutes and spoiler alert with our next lesson, we went over by 40 minutes! I’m thinking that maybe we need three hours twice a week. The children are so engaged. It is such a pleasure to teach them. They’re actually less interested in the toys and more interested in the projects. We enjoyed our organic decaf cold brew coffee that we made earlier in the week as well as our apple pie, which was a delicious hit. I’m quickly realizing two things: the children love to include food in their lessons, which I, of course, absolutely love and they also love to take something home with them after each class. I’m trying to see how I can include that into our lessons so they have a little treat or project or item they can take with them when they go. We continue reading our book: The Hedgehog Leaves Home along with the little props I had previously made.
