She was scratched, tired, and missing her legs, leaving her sitting very short and easily missed. But I remembered I had four MCM-style legs tucked away in storage that were just waiting for the right piece. 👏🏼 So I brought her home and got to work! ✨ Added the new legs - Amazon ✨ Scraped and sanded away years of wear to reveal that gorgeous walnut grain - Makita Tools USA ✨ Stained the entire piece to bring warmth and richness back to the wood - ZAR® Premium Teak ✨ Toned the mismatched legs and a few areas so everything blended beautifully - Mohawk Finishing Products Medium Brown, American Walnut ✨ Sealed it with three coats of satin polyurethane, wet sanding between coats for that smooth finish - Varathane® Satin Poly ✨ And finished it off with a beautiful shelf liner for an extra touch of personality 🤎 And just like that… she went from tired and forgotten to absolutely STUNNING.
