That’s actually INSANE. I work at Sam’s Club pharmacy and we definitely don’t announce what peoples medications are for😭 I only ever say it if THEY ASK. Sorry that happened 😫

As a medical assistant I can confirm either the pharmacy techs are super sweet and helpful or absolutely terrible people who don’t belong anywhere in health care 🥲🤣.

as a pharmacy tech, I realy try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but she has just gont an egregious mentality to bring into the pharmacy. I ONLY say what that medication is used for or name of it IF the pt asked what it is. I dont understand ppl who dont look at the person they are helping, even if you have an eye-contact thing, you dont just stare at the computer screen! and then starting on someone before finishing a transaction? I only do that if I need the pharmacist to council and am going to be waiting for more than 2 minutes (i.e. they are counciling another pt, or steped out of the pharmacy for a sec). tbh I dont like to be overly friendly with people, but that's just me, im anti-social 🤷♀️
