@carabearthomas: I promise I’m not posting this to garner sympathy or attention I just always want to keep it real on my page and sometimes I watch Moms who just seemed like they have everything together and I hope no one ever looks at my page and thinks that about me lol
Get him a floor bed!! I have a 15 month old who needed to be rocked to sleep and hated his crib! The floor bed was life changing for us and now we are finally sleeping😅

Babe, we call ms Rachel ‘stepmom’ in our house, and you know Eriss doesn’t like to eat anything so she basically lives off watermelon and macaroni, we’re all going through it you’re not alone 💕 we love you

Screentime, cosleeping, ordering out, things a mom should never feel guilty about!! If it’s any consolation, I’m doing way worse! You are doing amazing. We are! We’re just trying to survive and if doing those is what we need to survive, then we shouldn’t feel guilty about doing them. Take it slow. 💗

Your vulnerability is so beautiful, and I hope you know how many women you’re touching by sharing the parts of motherhood that aren’t always easy to talk about. 🤍
Motherhood can stretch us in ways we never knew we could be stretched. But I truly believe there is something sacred in the becoming in the messy days, the exhaustion, the questioning, and even the moments when you feel like you’ve lost yourself.

From one mom to another, you’re not alone! I can tell you a million positive things but our postpartum brain is going to believe whatever the heck it wants to. We got this, we will rise in Jesus name. Sending virtual hugs 🤍

I have an almost 7-month-old baby boy, and I can relate to your post so much. Some days I feel like I can handle everything, and other days I just want some time to myself. I love this new chapter of my life, but I also find myself missing and grieving the life I had before motherhood. I’m learning that it’s okay to feel both at the same time.
I remind myself that these days are temporary and that, before I know it, my baby won’t be a baby anymore. Things will get easier, and I’ll feel more like myself again. Give yourself grace, mama. Take it one day at a time. 🤍

Lexapro saved me with like 90% of this!!! I used to be so against anything that was not holistic before I started it.

What you said word by word is what Im experiencing with my one year old but especially the one you said “ having separation anxiety and but desperately needing a break from my toddler” OMG this….Im nagging about not having anyone to help with my child yet when my father says when you have dr appointments yo can bring her in, yet I can’t!!! I swear everything you said is exactly my challenges right now…my girl wakes up 5,6 times each night and it’s crucial!!! House never looks tidy like before and it makes me feel incompetent….im taking antidepressant’s pills for ppd yet I don’t feel much difference…so basically we experience the same challenges most of us but in different levels even though we even though we don’t evn live in the same continent

You’re feeling all these things because you’re a good mom. How do I know?… because I feel them too and I know I’m a damn good mom. If we didn’t love our babies so much, we wouldn’t care about any of this. 💕

I am here for you always and despite not knowing what your every day to day life looks like you are doing so amazing and I’m so proud of how amazing of a mother, sister, daughter, and friend you are! Don’t beat yourself up too much, we all have our days and times where we feel defeated and like nothing is ever going to work out or we could be doing more and think we’re not doing enough but put your trust in the fact that everything will come together. It will. Love you Cara ♥️

My son is 14 months old. In his room, he has his crib and we have a queen size bed. We put him to sleep by rocking him and then put him in his crib. Then we sleep in that room. My husband and I take turns he does the Night Shift because he does better on less sleep. Now we are at the point where he sleeps alone in his crib. The bed is still in there, but that’s how we made it through the difficult months.
