I don't think all people or most people are complaining about dance experience...I think it's more that Val and Jenna got them...I love them but it's really obvious the favoritism

I’m so sick of this! It’s literally every season! Someone has dance experience so they shouldn’t be on here. Do you realize ballroom dancing is SO different than the dancing they did!! Like come on!!

A dance background vs being a literal professional dancer, Jenna may not do ballroom but she can learn a dance faster, has more rhythm, and her dance capability will certainly do more than help her for certain dance styles sooooo it’s the most unfair advantage in show history.

It says dancing with the stars. They’re both stars rather they have background or not. It doesn’t say the no talent dancing stars. Ultimately, I think people vote on charisma and personality more than the dancing than anything. I’ve seen that in the past winners.

Srsly, if they complain about that what about Kristi Yamaguchi , or any other ice skater or gymnasts they have they have a dance background for sure they have to for their routine. Love all of the participants and competitors just pointing this out.

Having dance experience doesn’t guarantee success in ballroom dancing. They might not be good at it. Idk how that’s such a hard concept for people to comprehend. Every season they have someone with “ dance” experience and they “hardly” ever make it to the finale.

I love when they bring on dancers who have a little extra experience. Plus, I don’t understand why everyone gets so upset; it’s not dancing with the amateurs, it’s dancing with the stars. Some stars know how to dance. Not to mention, people pick and choose. Everyone was up in arms about Heather Morris having prior dance experience for example, but several former dancers have won
