I always disliked that concept. I feel like it lacks contrast and harmony in shades, it also looks pretty boring on a 3d model. I really like the final design, I didn't care about Emilie before she was teased, and after she became my favourite character

if her og design came out, she would get as much hate because she is basically uncovered and fan service while i think the one we got is more cleaner for a perfumer

Honestly, I like what they did with her official as opposed to the concept much better, she stands out amongst the Fontaine cast more, literally Fontaine is the nation of the high/low, Emilie dares to have a long skirt, admittedly slitted, but it's unique amongst what most the other girls got, her lavender concept is the same overdone silhouette, and the palette just doesn't look as good with the intended usage of her kit, the greens match Dendro and add nice contrast to the orange/reds of Pyro when she's plunked in a Burn team, the lavender clashes with Pyro ability effects too much imo

Her concept one actually hints to her forensic cleaner career. Not directly, but the sadder, more tired look makes a lot of sense. And lavender is a good colour choice for a perfumer front, considering lavender is one of the most prominent floral scents. Though I don’t despise emilies design, it would have been nice to see the concept be chosen and taken further.

her official design is top3 designs in the game, while the lavender WOULD be pretty if it wasnt in genshin. it wouldnt fit genshin at all (especially since they wouldnt adjust her model, bc it was the fontaine era)
