My Fellow Namibians, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For years, whenever Pensioners ask for better grants, Youth ask for jobs, or Communities demand Housing, Water, Healthcare and Education, we are told: “THERE IS NO MONEY.” Yet our political system continues consuming hundreds of millions while politicians live comfortably at taxpayers’ expense. We cannot continue being told to tighten our belts while politicians are bathing in MILK & HONEY. I propose RADICAL REFORM: 🔥 Reduce Parliament from 146 to 28 MPs — 2 per Region. 🔥 Abolish the National Council. 🔥 Abolish taxpayer funding of political parties. 🔥 MPs must NOT simultaneously be Ministers. 🔥 Make Parliament full-time: Mon–Fri, 08h00–17h00. 🔥 MPs must not run outside businesses. 🔥 Let citizens directly nominate and elect their MPs, including independents. 🔥 Give voters the power to recall MPs. 🔥 Abolish Constituency Councillor positions. 🔥 Let every Region DIRECTLY ELECT its Governor. 🔥 Allocate regional development funding transparently according to population and development needs. 🔥 Make every Governor publicly account for regional expenditure and development. From parliamentary remuneration and political-party funding alone, our indicative direct savings could be approximately: 💰 N$288.95 MILLION EVERY YEAR. 💰 About N$1.44 BILLION OVER FIVE YEARS. Imagine what those resources could contribute towards serviced land, housing, water, sanitation, healthcare, education, agriculture, roads and youth employment. So perhaps the question is not simply whether Namibia has money. The question is: WHAT ARE OUR PRIORITIES? Before politicians tell pensioners, unemployed youth and struggling families that “there is no money”, Government must first demonstrate that it has CUT unnecessary political expenditure. Public office must be about SERVICE — not financial security. FEWER POLITICIANS. MORE DEVELOPMENT. LESS POLITICAL BUREAUCRACY. MORE MONEY TOWARDS THE PEOPLE. 🇳🇦 THERE IS MONEY. LET US CHANGE OUR PRIORITIES. Please Share. Revolutionary Greetings Saddam Amushelelo The People’s General President of the Ghetto
