TW: pregnancy loss One of the hardest weeks of our lives 🥺💔 In November, we lost our baby, and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same again. Something in me has shifted. I feel the old version of me doesn’t exist anymore. I’ve cried more tears than I can count, wishing it was all different. There’s a quiet emptiness inside me that I’m still learning to live with. I wasn’t sure whether to share this, but there was a time at the beginning when everything felt so joyous. We were so excited. It still hurts to look back on that joy, but it deserves to be acknowledged. This little life mattered, and I don’t want to pretend they didn’t exist. I don’t want to forget about our baby. As if that heartbreak wasn’t enough, our fluffy marshmallow Arthur started having seizures again that same week. Sitting in the emergency vets while I was actively miscarrying was beyond anything I could have imagined. It was emotionally and physically exhausting on every level. It felt like we were losing everything. I know so many people are carrying their own heavy battles, but part of my healing is allowing myself to acknowledge what happened instead of pushing it down. I don’t want to hide from it or pretend it didn’t break me. Miscarriage deserves to be spoken about, not brushed under the carpet. This experience has opened my eyes even more to how many women walk through this suffering silently. My heart is with every woman who has experienced pregnancy loss. Even on the days we feel broken, strength still lives within us. And in time, as we heal, a softer, deeper strength will find its way back to us. Although I’m no expert, I’m always here for anyone who needs to talk. I’m determined to open up this conversation more because miscarriage is deeply traumatic, yet we’re conditioned to stay silent, stay strong, say “I’m fine,” and carry on. We shouldn’t have to. Sharing this is my way of honouring our baby and everything we felt. It’s my way of keeping their little life acknowledged and remembered. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever ❤️‍🩹 #pregnancyloss #miscarriage #babyloss
