I’ve been supporting Leimert for years. Personally I’ve been going for about 20 years. The plan is to continue what I’ve been doing. Showing up supporting the business and chilling. Nothing is stopping anyone from pulling up and seeing for themselves what Leimert Park is. The best people in the city are there!

I genuinely hope the same community that was so vocal about protecting the space shows up with that same energy to support the local vendors. If the concern was truly about preserving and uplifting the community, supporting the people who actually depend on that space for their livelihood should be part of that conversation too.
