I had the Chicken pox twice I had the chickenpox when I was little and I got them again when I was around 13-14 years old and my brother also had the chickenpox twice when he was little and again when he was around 10-12 yrs old.. it was so weird

I’m 49, had Shingles twice. I got the vaccine and I still have residual serious pain in the site where it presented. Ugh! Worst pain I’ve ever had!

Had shingles twice by age 35 and they still won't let me get the vax. I have permanent damage in my sub occipital (where the scabs were) and nobody will help me get pain treatment. I'm so frustrated.

I had a terrible reaction to the first shot and I am scared to get the second as my doctor says it’s usually worst. I don’t have a day or two to lie flat on my back feeling like death. Idk what to do.

After witnessing my former father in law, who was a very strong man, I knew I never wanted shingles or the residual nerve pain. The first shot was rough the next day, but the second shot was easy for me.
