he was taken away from his natural position, thats what happened. He can play center but not the entire season. He used to be a stretch big man and contributed significantly during that 2020 season championship run. But after that season he was forced to play center which focuses more on banging with those player such as Jokic, Giannis and embiid. All he wants is a reliable center just like Dwight and Javale back in 2020 but the management traded him instead. Its not a bad trade, but i felt bad for what the lakers did to him 🥺🥺

It’s very simple: forced to play center -> no backup big -> has to stay in the paint on offense and defense all game to get rebounds (no one else will) -> does this for 3-4 years and now his jumper’s lost
